CCS subscribes to a number of scholarly and trend forecasting databases; articles from these sources often will not appear in internet searches because they are subscription-only and require a login. The following list includes recommended subscription, as well as open access, databases. Open access databases have a green open lock symbol and do not require you to sign in.
Browsing periodicals is a great way to stay informed on current trends. Explore these print and online examples related to color, materials, and finishes. Older print issues may be checked out from the Library.
You can also search for periodicals by subject or title in our databases, as some titles are available digitally.
Flipster provides digital access to a selection of the Library's print periodicals, including Artichoke, Frame, ReNew, Wired, Wood Magazine, and many more. Both mobile and computer friendly, users can read current and (limited) past issues.
