Chicago - Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) is most commonly used in literature, history, and the arts. CMOS allows for in-text citations via either the author-date system (using a parenthetical with the author's name and date of publication) or the notes-bibliography system (using footnotes with abbreviated citations from the bibliography).
