Academic articles often will not appear on websites searched by Google because they are stored in subscription-only databases that provide limited access. The CCS Library subscribes to a large number of databases that will help you in more detailed research.
You can search the databases by subject (CCS departments), or type (articles, eBooks, images, news, etc.). The Library staff have also included some open access databases that are high quality.
The Library subscribes to over 200 print and electronic periodicals that will inspire and challenge you as you develop your art practice. We also have comfortable chairs and private rooms where you can read and study. Back issues of select periodicals have been cataloged and are available upon request. Some popular titles:
Art in America
Road and Track
and many, many more...
Flipster provides digital access to a selection of the Library's print periodicals, including ArtForum International, Creative Quarterly, Uppercase, and many more. Both mobile and computer friendly, users can read current and (limited) past issues.
