Communication Design: Search for an Article

Articles Available Remotely

Academic articles often will not appear on websites searched by Google because they are stored in proprietary databases. These databases may limit access to paid subscribers or be open to all. The following list includes recommended article databases (both paid and open access) accessible to CCS community members which may be of particular interest to Communication Design students.

For a complete list for Communication Design databases, click HERE.
For all databases, click HERE.

Print periodicals often have content available on their websites. The links below will take you to the digital content supporting some of the print magazines available in the Library.

You can also search for periodicals by title in EBSCO, as some titles are available digitally.

Our subscription to Flipster provides digital access to a selection of the Library's print periodicals. Both mobile and computer friendly, users can read current and (limited) past full issues from their phone or computer.

Some available titles of special interest to Communication Design students include:

  • Applied Arts
  • Communication Arts
  • Creative Quarterly
