Open Access: Overview

Open Access (commonly abbreviated OA) resources run the gamut from eBooks to images to videos to educational resources. These materials are made freely available to anyone with an internet connection. There are different types of access granted by OA - many utilize Creative Commons licenses which allow for reuse with varying restrictions (see the Copyright guide for more information).

This guide is divided by type of resource and also features a section on Open Educational Resources, geared specifically toward faculty.
